Why get a new boiler?

Getting a new boiler installed

- If you’re getting a boiler replaced, the installation should go like this:
- The installer will remove your old boiler
- They’ll then flush or clean your system
- They’ll fit your new boiler, along with any new pipework or equipment
- They’ll test it and complete any necessary paperwork
- Once all the work is finished, they should show you how to operate and check the boiler
Either you or the installer will need to register the boiler with the boiler manufacturer – that way, you can ensure the warranty is valid.
A simple replacement combi boiler usually only takes a day to fit. However, if it’s a more complex installation – for example, you’re switching boiler type, moving the boiler to a new room, or upgrading your radiators – it could take two or more days.
